[it's another quiet night around camp. comfortably quiet, or suspiciously quiet...well, that depends on how paranoid you are.

one place it's not quiet, though: in the mess hall, where the tiny samurai in the corner has just set down the book he's reading (which looks to be a history of Sengoku Japan) and smacked the table with his hand.]

I wanted an end to the war. I may have fought in hopes of seeing it under a different lord, but I think Ieyasu has the potential to keep the peace, so I won't complain.

Peace is what's most important. After all we've been through, I don't think Japan can afford to get too fussy about the details.
