I suppose I am. I've only taken on the position of Camp's judge at the beginning of the month.

I see. What sort of work does this entail? Does it relate to what you were doing previously, before arriving in Camp?

[lunadickery]

I was a judge prior to coming here, yes. As for my duties in camp, in theory, I am to oversee any trials and assist with various legal administrative matters. In actuality, I am...struggling to grasp some sort of understanding about how the laws here actually work.

That seems a very unbalanced work load. I was unaware we had laws, beyond basic decency. Have you any help with this?

If basic decency is a law here, then that's more than I have heard about. From what I've observed, the only laws are the arbitrary rules that the camp inflicts upon the population. The lack of justice and order is appalling.

I have been assigned some of the undead as assistants, but they're...[charred to a crisp]...not very helpful

I am indeed, though I rarely use my skills, here. This place is many things, but it is also a bit of a respite from war.
