[And lo! There is a costume.]

... I begin to loathe this holiday.

[That's a fairly short skirt . . .]

[I haven't got the legs for it.]

Dost thou know, milady, why such seasonal attire seemingly must be so... immodest?

. . . I wouldn't know. Modern dress seems to contain a lot less clothing than what I'm used to.

[Granny Weatherwax would have a fit.]

[Adds to list of things Granny Weatherwax can't be having with.]

Yea, verily... Admittedly, though, 'tis more demure than the formal attire I first obtained 'pon my arrival here.

[It's a very long list.]

It's more demure than Naked Day. Most things are.

[Granny would flip every lid.]

Mayhaps so, yet that is a particularly low standard, milady.

It's more like Camp's standard.

I'm Tiffany, by the way. Are you looking for Halloween costumes?

Against my better judgment, 'twould seem.

Well met, then, Lady Tiffany. I am Thor, God of Thunder.

[Wow, it really is easy to meet non-humans here . . .]

. . . It's nice to meet you too.

I have alarmed thee, haven't I.

Um, I've met some gods before. You're more . . . solid than the ones back at home.

say_thee_nay October 23 2011, 05:01:59 UTC
Ah, I see.

Well, I have e'er prided myself 'pon my solidity--in fact, there are many who have said I am quite dense, and I have always appreciated their acknowledgment of my tangibility.

. . . I'm not sure if that's what they meant.

There's a god of thunder back at home too.

Like as not. They had cause to regret it as well, for as a demonstration I would oftentimes introduce them to the density of my fist, though this resulted in their paying me far fewer of such compliments in the future.

Verily? And this thunderer's name is...?

*has noticed the tangibility of your fists too*

It's Blind Io most of the time.
