I think it's just an excuse for a parade, really.

Ah. Well, parades are fun, I guess! At least here there's no traffic for them to block.

We have loads of corn too, so the parties afterwards will not be a problem. Nor will Thanksgiving or Christmas be short of corn on the cob, creamed corn and all the other holiday staples.

I haven't seen many turkeys around, though.

We might get a plague of them around Thanksgiving--that's how this place works.

True! I was thinking more about Christmas, though. Do you guys eat turkey on Christmas, or is it just a Thanksgiving thing?

Both--with a lot of leftover turkey after each round too.

Ah, yes, leftover turkey. Always fun, until you get so sick of it that you're happy to take a break from it for another eleven months.

It's turkey after all--not the most delicious fowl in the world.

That, of course, raises the question of what is the most delicious fowl.

Probably duck. Or goose if you count the fans of its liver.

I'm not much into liver myself.

A bit of foie gras every now and then can be nice if it's an expensive party.

See, I don't get invited to that kind of party much.

We really have to fix that some day--go somewhere nice for a change. Like Paris.

Hah, don't I wish I could. It'd be preferable to this place, that's for sure.
