I dunno how they got in. They could be a way out, but right now they're more worried about the alien monster thing outside of camp. Plus they're assholes who suck at talking to people.

Dickbag virus walks around for a couple months doing stuff to people and being impossible to kill. Then the carnies turn the virus into a giant goddamn dinosaur to try to fight the alien. Then the barrier gets broken and a shit ton of people from all over the place get stuck here for a couple of days before leaving.
