Ah, I'm not entirely sure. I have every reason to believe Kaname-kun left, and, well. I believe I described him to you before. The situation is not one that I expected to occur.

Do you think it's better that he's home now?

There's every chance that time is paused at home while we are here. The fact that Yuuki and Kiryuu-kun were not missing at home before I was sent here, even though they've been here for years, lends credence to this possibility. So in that sense, I can't say it's necessarily better for the political situation that he is home again.

However, he has gone without Yuuki and I do not want to imagine the pain she must feel at their parting.

Pay attention to her moods, I suppose. Stay close if she needs support, or give her space when she wants to be alone.

That does make a lot of sense. It can be difficult to judge these things - how much space to give and how close to stay and so on.
