. . . Camp will interfere with magic sometimes.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm kind of liking the kinds of tests that get graded from A to F better.

But as a magic user, how many of those tests do you get?

I still had to go to school. And I don't believe in cheating.

...Except for that one algebra test, but that was a rare exception.

You went to a school? For magic users or a normal one?

A normal one. Kind of had to keep the magic thing on the down low, too.

Ah--magic is not common in your world?

Not really.

It frightens people?

Not so much that! It's just... well, I guess you could say it's considered more of a superpower where I'm from? And superheroes need to have secret identities, of course.

I see--you're a professional hero. There are a quite a few at Camp.

More like a hero-in-training, I guess, but yeah. I've heard!

And your magic is considered a hero ability too?

dednuorgrofefil November 23 2011, 23:49:45 UTC
Pretty much. Normally I'd probably have to keep a secret identity too, but I sort of figure I don't need to in a place like this.

You could if you wanted to, but as you said, it'd be too obvious in a place like this.
