SUDDENLY: MISTLETOE.

Dec 01, 2011 00:01

Well gosh! It's all so festive, y'all!

[TODAY, there is mistletoe everywhere. Hanging over obnoxious cabin overhangs, planted in inappropriate spots in the mess hall, twisted around various poles and the few trees in farm camp - you name it, you can probably find it there.

happy holidays. :') ]

[...takes a long moment to appreciate how awkward this is probably going to be]

The mistletoe. I knew it was coming, but I didn't expect this much to grow this quickly.

Uh, yeah? It's a plant you kiss under. It's a holiday tradition.

Except here. Where it's the plant you have to kiss under.

It's usually not out in quite this amount for the whole month at least. So if you can make it somewhere safe very quickly, you can wait it out there until most of it goes away.

But... it might be a little too late for that... for us.

. . . it's just a kiss. Right? I mean, I kiss my friends on the cheek all the time.

It's just a kiss. Though... usually a bit more... passionate than you mean.

. . . I was afraid of that.

Not always though! So we can try it and see if it works?
