It's actually not me that I'm asking help for. I was hoping to talk to someone about a problem my friend has.

This friend has... something like a demon attached to their soul, we think. They don't have control over it, and it can kill quite easily... but my friend never knows when it's going to happen, and has some memory loss over it. We thought it had gone away a while ago, but it seems to have come back. At least, that's what we suspect.
