[It's snowing lightly, the gorillas are frolicking, Marcy might be wearing jumbo-size tentacle mittens--and someone short and irresponsible is headed across camp with a saw.

SO WHAT SHENANIGANS ARE YOU UP TO THIS SATURDAY, CAMP?]

(( feel free to use this for any and all mingling purposes! I'LL BE AROUND ))

Should I ask what he's doing or is this another rendition of 'safer off not knowing?'

Well, I know they all talk about social experiments and everything, but I wasn't really that great with people even back home.

[after a second of silence, like fuck it] I spent the first sixteen years of my life pretty much buying presents - real presents that you think about - for two people, my mom and my dad. And the last Christmas I had somebody I liked, I royally screwed it up right around our first Christmas.

So....no. Camp has its work cut out for it, basically. [stiff little laugh]

[sorry we are not up to sharing that little bit of information at this moment]

I'd done something dumb. He found out. Kaboom.

[she is least communicative teenager. what you got was on impulse]

I haven't even bought myself anything new since I arrived. I've just been taking advantage of my luggage.

[But I am nosy, especially about this :<]

But it's especially important to treat yourself while here... Keep your sanity.

[it might take a bit more bonding over hair-care products. as unlikely as her problem is to be helpful]

I'm getting new boots and a loofah as soon as I get home. Do you know what the delivery time is like?

...A loofah. No, come with me. [turning towards his cabin!] Everything I've bought has been here within a couple of days. Though... I've never tried different shipping options because it seems a bit strange for here.

[following obediently!] A few days sounds pretty good. I don't want to push my luck.

[Apparently we were close because THERE'S THE CABIN. Going in~]

It really does seem like one of those things that we shouldn't call to camp's attention.

[still following] Do people actually come in here and deliver, or do boxes just magically appear on your doorstep?

I've heard that the gorillas will deliver but I'm suspicious of that -and them- so I just pick them up at the store.

[His side is all decorated, awww. Going to the wardrobe and pulling down a basket -- so many bath products. SOMEONE LIKES LUSH.]

No. I think it would be wiser not to go there.

[she makes appropriate appreciative noises]
