Good morning happy campers! This is your first round, because I was too headachey to do one last night. FOR SOME OF YOU IT IS STILL LAST NIGHT SO THAT IS OKAY! I have excused myself. This round is a camper round, good times.

Character: Elena Gilbert
Series: The Vampire Diaries
Character Age: 17
Canon:The Vampire Diaries is a series that focuses on supernatural entities such as vampires, werewolves, and witches, all of which can be found in the town called Mystic Falls, Virginia. The town itself seems to be a magnet for the supernatural, dating back to the 1800s and possibly even beyond. There is even an organization created by the founding families; this organization is aware of the supernatural threats within town and do everything they can to fight against it. It’s also the place where Elena Gilbert meets Stefan Salvatore; a vampire who changes her life and turns it topsy turvy.
Elena is the female protagonist of the series. She's a normal human being caught up in supernatural events due to meeting and getting to know the Salvatore brothers. She's kind, empathetic and very selfless, often sacrificing anything possible, even herself, to save the people she loves. She also has a tendency to make her opinion known if need be, and she won't hesitate to do what she needs to do. She tends to be straight forward and she tries her best to help others out in any way she can. Elena is constantly trying to see the best in others, always giving second chances because she wants to believe in the good in people, no matter who they are. Above all else, she tries her best to live her life as who she is: a stubborn teenage girl who loves the people in her life and wants the best for them.
Sample Post: The brochure said this was a zombie camp, but I thought that was just a theme. You know, like Six Flags’ Halloween tour. Still, I came here thinking I could take a break from the supernatural and instead, I get this. I know, getting handed a shotgun and a guidebook on how to kill zombies pretty much explains everything. But, seriously, feeding a zombie through the wood chipper? That’s one I haven’t heard. I mean, it’s not that surprising anymore -- it’s not quite on the same level as finding out your boyfriend is a vampire, anyway. No, don't ask; it's a long story.
Anyway, I hope you realize that you're making a bunch of poor life-- er, unlife choices. I think you should sit down and think about where you want to go in life. I mean, I know it’s why I’m here. Back home, it’s different. Really different. So I thought summer camp would be a good fix. S’mores, bonfires, fishing and late night slumber parties; that’s what I remember from the last time I went to summer camp. You can see why I came here now, right? The brochure even said there was a hot spring. Nothing says relaxation like a hot spring. I also thought it’d be a nice break-- something relaxing, something fun; a place where I could get away from it all. It’s the same for you too, I’m guessing. You’re here to help yourself.
So let’s get back to your life choices. I’m well aware of what you need: you need to eat brains to survive. But haven't you thought of any alternatives? Look, here's the brochure for CFUD; it says that the mess hall serves Tuesday soup on Tuesdays. The ingredients are human body parts. I'm sure you could find a brain or two in there. The reason I’m saying this is because I know some other people who are into alternatives. I’m not saying gorilla brains aren’t good; I’m just trying to point out that they fight back. With the way you are, I doubt you’d be able to survive what they do to you. I hear sheep brains are a delicacy in some places. Couldn’t you go that route instead?
It looks like you still don't trust me. Alright, how about this? I’ll promise not to hurt you in any way and I’ll try to protect you from any other campers who might have ideas about killing the undead. I’m going to do this because I believe you can change for the better and that’s what’s the most important here-- wait! Stop, don’t go after that gorilla again! Remember, life choices; you’re the one who makes them. Now ask yourself, do you really want to give up what makes you human just for a quick snack or two? . . . that looks like a yes. Come on, don’t you see what happens when you don’t listen to reason? You lose an arm and a leg -- literally, as you’ve probably noticed. Here, let me help you put them back on and then we can get something to eat. Does that sound fair? Good. I knew you’d make the right choice in the end.
Poll Vote! Character: Okumura Yukio
Series:
Ao no ExorcistCharacter Age: 15
Canon: Take real life, toss in a hidden underbelly of exorcists battling demons, and you’ve got the setting for Ao no Exorcist. In the series Okumura Rin discovers that he is the son of Satan and becomes determined to reject the reality of that, instead insisting on becoming an exorcist so that he may one day become the greatest Exorcist ever and punch Satan’s teeth out of his ugly face. It’s not a path without hardships; there’s huge amounts of prejudice against the boy fathered by the ultimate demon, but he does have his supporters. One of the greatest is his twin brother, Okumura Yukio.
Yukio began his training in the skills of an exorcist at a very young age, an attempt by their adopted father to give the boy some confidence and a sense of security in himself. He excelled rapidly and now, still a highschool freshman, teaches the anti-demon pharmacology class to new recruits, and takes on missions as an official exorcist, specializing in medicine and guns. He's incredibly serious and has a very strict, no-nonsense brand of maturity; this is a teenage boy who doesn't get even a little excited over schoolboy shenanigans and would rather scold the others for thinking about girls. While he feels a strong sense of love and responsibility to his brother, he's careful not to allow himself to become defined by him. When he isn't doing what he can to help keep Rin out of death row, he's wholly focused on his work. He's methodical, cool, and concise both in and out of the classroom, and tends to keep his manner of speech formal and polite. That seemingly unflappable cool-headedness extends so far that he’s able to carry on a sibling argument while simultaneously shooting swarms of demons with precision accuracy, without looking. However there are limits to his patience. When those limits are being tested, he can become agitated and prone to snapping.
Sample Post:
First, I would like to begin by apologizing for my tardiness. I understand that your situation is dire, but I was unfortunately ill prepared for the shockingly severe and unusual infestation of ghouls along the highway leading here. Please avoid use of the highway until further notice. I know this presents another problem for you, but this local population of ghouls-zombies, as you are calling them- has an undocumented behavior of attacking human clothing, and it is imperative in this hostile environment that you all remain clothed. I was lucky to escape with mine-although I was not so fortunate with my supplies. Furthermore, I’ve been unable to get phone reception to contact headquarters to inform them of these developments yet, so I've made the decision to instruct you on some emergency field preparations.
Most important is the preparation of holy water. I’m only able to prepare up to a D-grade concentration with the skills that I have, but it will have to suffice. To begin with, we'll need clean water. If one of you could fill some buckets from the nearest faucet then I can begin to instruct you on the proper procedure. Please take care to avoid the ghouls while you fill them-and sir. “Putting down” those who have been bitten is entirely unacceptable. I assure you that I am wholly capable of treating them and preventing the demon from gaining control.
You see, it is not a “zombie infection” as I assume you all believe it to be. When a victim is bitten, they have been given a cursed wound by a low level demon that possesses corpses, and if this wound goes untreated they die and become a corpse ripe for possession themselves. Use of holy water can neutralize the wound, thereby saving the victim. Think of the holy water as a disinfectant. If we can treat bites quickly enough, it will prevent the demon from “infecting” the victim. Again, please do not shoot each other prematurely or engage in any behavior you may have seen encouraged in popular media.
And-this isn’t water. May. . . May I ask if you have any thoughts on your sewage system being filled with blood? Judging... by how calm you appear to be, am I correct in assuming you were all aware of this problem? I have to wonder why this wasn’t included in the SOS we received. If it had been, perhaps a complete team could have been sent here instead of a single agent who is now without his supplies or his ability to contact home. Thankfully, I should be able to handle this haunting once the ghouls are under control. It's pure luck that I was sent instead of someone less skilled.
We will simply have to resort to using water from the pond. It should be suitable once it’s been boiled and strained to remove the worst of the impurities. Everyone, please follow me and bring the buckets with you. We’ll prepare it at the shore while-
Why was I not informed that there is a Class III demon in your pond?!

Series:
Persona 2: Innocent SinCharacter Age: 17
Canon:
Note: This app contains unavoidable spoilers.
In Sumaru City, rumors become reality -- a dangerous prospect when you consider that gossipy high schoolers and alien conspiracy theorists have loose lips. All over the city, citizens' greatest dreams are coming true at heavy prices, courtesy of a mysterious and cruel masked figure known as the Joker. High schooler and reluctant leader Tatsuya Suou and his companions utilize a power called Persona and wacky negotiation skills to defeat a demon plague, the minions of the Joker, and his cult in a quest to save the city. Their quest gets personal when they regain memories of their lost childhoods and discover the enemy's true identity and the ticking timebomb of their world's fate.
Beneath the Joker's mask is Jun Kurosu, Tatsuya's best friend from childhood and victim to corrupted memories. The real Jun is a kind and loyal young man, polite and reserved with solitary hobbies such as astrology, flowers, fortune telling, and domestics. His experiences cause him to question the nature of humanity and ideals, and he's vocal with his thoughts that range from the flowery and romantic to the questionably morbid. He wants to help others make their dreams come true, and this goal, along with a fierce devotion to Tatsuya, his big sister figure Maya, and the rest of his friends, motivates him to continue on through the guilt and sins he committed as the Joker. Despite his benevolent nature, he can be unforgiving and even violent towards those who cross him or his friends, and he is not above manipulating others, with his androgynous beauty or otherwise. And even though he looks fragile and fights with, um, flowers, he is no pushover. In many ways, Jun is a walking contradiction and occasionally needs the support of his friends to convince him he deserves to exist, but is fairly adept at keeping his cool and his myriad of problems under wraps.

I was told that the Director needed a pick-me-up, but I'm sure she's chosen the wrong person for the job. How could someone like me make others happy? Especially someone like her who has lost an important person...I feel very sorry for her. And while no offense is meant, Zombie, it's no wonder she needs a better team of investigators if she has been using the other denizens of this camp to solve her mystery. If you've ever tried chatting with demons, you must know that they're quite disagreeable, unless you manage to get on their good sides. Though when you think about it, humans aren't so different. We pay respect to those who treat us with kindness, and those who don't may meet a...messier fate.
Ah, that's the key, isn't it? To getting back home. If the Director can find some solace, she won't need the company of all the campers any longer...and perhaps she can find some happiness again with all of her "pets". Living with the pain of loss is just another part of existence. I'm sure you knew it too, once upon a time. Perhaps you even know it now, when you've had your fill of wayward campers' brains and find yourself less occupied with getting your next meal. There is nothing sinful in living for simple pleasures, I think. And sometimes we get so caught up in our own sorrow that we forget how to live for anything - or anyone - at all.
For awhile, I had also forgotten how to smile, but there were special people who were there to remind me and promise that there would always be a home for me to return to. I don't think I have any right to bring happiness to others, but while I can't solve the Director's mystery, I can show her the joys that my friends brought to me. Even though you're trampling that patch of cornflowers under your feet, you should know that they'll grow back. I believe that we have the same potential...you know, that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.
In your case, whatever did kill you made you stronger too! Not many can say they've gotten back up after death. An admirable brand of determination. That strength of spirit can only be rewarded with an Iceland poppy, in exchange for a clue to the Director's location. I think she might enjoy one of these too. The beauty of a flower can bring a smile to anyone's face. Take it, I insist! But don't try to eat it, you'll -
Oh, um...that's a shame. Maybe I should have warned him about the poison sooner?
Poll Vote! Character: Hino Eiji
Series:
Kamen Rider OOOCharacter Age: 21
Canon: What would you do if one day while you were working your usual part-time job, your life was suddenly bombarded with bedlam? For Hino Eiji, the only answer to this age-old question is to fight. An accident on the job led to a group of monsters called Greeeds to be released from their seal. They’ve picked back up their old plans of devouring the world in their, you guessed it, insatiable greed. Due to a lucky twist of fate, the incomplete Greeed Ankh made the choice to give our hero the power to transform into Kamen Rider OOO. Now it’s up to him and his partner to use its infinite abilities to protect the people and stop the other Greeeds from fulfilling their villainous ambitions.
Eiji is a living example of “no money, no home, no problem.” He is a homeless humanitarian who likes to help people with their problems. After a tragic event in his past, he has made a promise to himself to live a life of no regrets. If someone reaches out a hand to him for help, he will do everything humanly possible to assist them without question or asking for anything in return. While not being the sharpest tool in the shed, and certainly not the most sensible, his will is unshakable and his beliefs are strong. When push comes to shove, Eiji can be surprisingly cunning and a bit bossy. That isn’t to say he’s secretly mean! See, when it comes to personal desires within this world ruled by avariciousness, he has none! So long as there is clean underwear for tomorrow and spare change in his pocket, all will be well.
Sample Post:
Owaa! It's a tree full of underwear! It even looks like it's growing them on its own. This is amazing. I wonder if I could find out how to grow this type of tree myself. This would be so much easier then buying new ones every day. There’s even a variety of fabric types and cuts. Just think of how many tomorrows are safe with a tree like this! You're always assured that your underpants will be clean and here for you. I wonder if there is a price for taking any. Maybe I should ask someone and see if they know. Would it really be okay to just take one? I wouldn’t want to take someone’s hard work but it doesn't look like there's any sign that says I have to do something first-- Oh, there's a duck! I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask a local.
Hey, I'm sorry to bother you, but could you answer a few questions for me? I noticed the underwear tree and I really needed to get a pair to use for tomorrow. Is there anything I have to do before I get one? I wouldn't mind having to pay for them-- or usually I wouldn't. You see, I left all of my change in my other underwear. I lost them and all my change in a small tussle I had on the way here. It wasn’t anything alarming; I was trying to help a zombie find something it dropped and the gorilla who had it wasn’t willing to give it up without a fight. It’s not impractical to use a lost arm as a back-scratcher, but it would have been much better to ask first.
You mean I don't have to do anything at all? I can just reach up and get whatever I want? That's a great help, thanks so much! I was worried for a while that I would end up having to wear dirty ones. This is a big relief!
Wait-- where are you going now? I was going to see if you wanted a pair too, as thanks for your help. Since you don't have hands, I figured it would be hard for you to get any if you wanted them, and everyone could use a fresh pair of underpants now and then. Oh, I see what you were doing now! At first I thought you were leaving but that’s not what you’re doing at all. You were setting the tree on fire...
....Aaaah!!! You really set it on fire!! Why would you set a perfectly good underwear tree aflame?! What if there were people depending on this tree’s good underwear? Ahhh, we’ve got to hurry and put the fire out before it’s too late. This is terrible; there goes my tomorrow up in flames.
Poll Vote! Character: Black
Series:
Pokemon SpecialCharacter Age: 15-16
Canon: The world of Pokemon is pretty weird! Kids are encouraged to leave home at young ages and wander the wilderness with only super-powered monsters and an electronic encyclopedia to help them. To add to that weirdness, sometimes these kids manage to get caught up in evil plots (by accident) and end up having to save the world! Pokemon Special really likes showing that second thing. Each arc of the manga is devoted to a different set of kids, and it has a slightly darker take on the world of Pokemon than most other versions of the series. The Black/White arc focuses on Team Plasma - a team that wants everyone in the world to release their Pokemon into the wild, and it doesn't matter to them if the trainers want to do it or not.
Coming in during the Black/White arc of the manga, Black is one of the newest protagonists. He's extremely hotblooded, and he runs on dreams! So much so, that it's hard for him to focus on anything but that without some help. His dreams are incredibly important to him, and he has a tendency to yell them out as loud as he possibly can when he gets the chance. Despite his energy, determination, and inability to focus well, Black is very smart! He's an avid reader, especially when the subject he's learning about is Pokemon. For the most part, Black is a pretty kind, cheerful, and energetic person that cares deeply for Pokemon, even if they might belong to someone else. However, if he gets angry about something, he will throw himself into danger without thinking of the consequences.
Note: Ducklett is a duck type Pokemon from the region Black/White takes place in!
Sample Post:
Hey! You’re supposed to be the secretary from the Camp Feel Ur Dreams brochure, right? My name is Black, and I have an appointment with the director! It took a lot of traveling to get here, but I’m glad that I finally arrived-- I think I read it a few hundred times to make sure I knew everything in it. You’re running a pretty good place, here! I can tell it’s supposed to be an elite training ground just from how much space there is, and all of the unknown Pokemon like that one fire-type Ducklett. The entrance exam battle is supposed to be pretty difficult, isn’t it? Don’t worry, though, I can take it! Once I beat it, I can do whatever it takes to achieve my dreams!
The ‘brains’ thing you keep saying is supposed to be a hint, right? You don’t have to worry about that! I have plenty of brains, and I made sure to do my research before I even got here! There were some things that I couldn’t learn from the brochures and books, but that’s okay. I’m pretty good at handling things in the moment! It’ll be fine, just watch! So, did you try to take the director on? If you did, that makes her pretty tough, doesn’t it? You kinda look like you’re falling apart! You don’t have to answer that, I can tell just looking at you. I didn’t think anyone could to that kind of thing to someone with a Pokemon battle! I’m sorry that you had a hard time, but I’m not gonna let that stop me!
Once I’m done I can help you beat her, if you still want to do it! I’ll give you all the pointers I can, and that way you can achieve your dream too. Sounds like a deal, right? Hey-- whoa! Don’t shake your head like that, it looks like it might fall off if you do that too hard. Are you sure you don’t want the pointers? It might help you get in for sure, too, and you could be more than a secretary! You’re still gonna keep shaking your head? Well, whatever! If that’s the way you want it, that’s fine! I completely get it if being her secretary is what you want to do.
It looks like it’s getting pretty late, isn’t it? That must mean it’s almost time for me to go! Just give me a second and I’ll be ready-- I need to do something before I get in. I’m gonna face this sunset and let everyone know what my dream for this place is. It’s pretty important for me to swear on my dreams!
I’M GONNA DEFEAT THE DIRECTOR’S TEST AND BECOME THE POKEMON CHAMPION OF THIS CAMP!!
