Out on the Gundam apps. My biggest complaint is that they are far too casual and sound really young. Yes, the GW boys are 14-15, but they are also battle-hardened warriors. They have their slang and their jokes, but their overall mood is very jaded. This goes particularly to Quatre if you are taking him after using the ZERO system. The inside jokes were also distracting from both apps. Now, there were instances of good voice sprinkled throughout both of these. "Of course there's no one better for any mission than the great Shinigami! If there is something to find here than I'll find it and blow this mystery wide open!!" was really nice for Duo. And the first two paragraphs were strong for Quatre. But there is a lot of non-voice in the rest. Quatre is the leader of the GW boys; he should sound it. Duo should sound a lot more wise-ass. Things of that nature.

That said, I think you both have a decent foundation and I suggest refining your voices if you don't get in.

It is a rare day in which I actually know the canons of three out of five apps. That said, my outs were for Duo and Quatre because I don't get Duo's voice and Quatre's app was mainly about the other pilots. Duo doesn't really rant and talk about the mission to himself in that way . . .

My outs were the Gundam apps for the reasons others have stated. Duo, your app read sloppily to me and I couldn't match the voice in the sample with what you said in the personality section at all. Quatre, I wibbled on your app! I would have voted it in, but there were just way too many mentions of canon-specific things, and even though you talked through a few of the Camp features, I still didn't get a good idea of how Quatre would behave in Camp.

OUT for Duo and Quatre, IN for Nezumi and Sion, ABSTAIN for Kane. I will explain my reasons once this headache goes away.

Okay SO. First of all, a big problem with Duo and Quatre's apps is that the Canon section and Sample Post didn't quite match up. Basically, the sample didn't give me good examples of what was mentioned, so I don't know how the characters would act once in camp, as someone else has said. Duo seemed to have a lot of issues with spelling and grammar, so I would recommend a beta to look it over if you don't get in and decide to reapp.

For Nezumi and Sion, the apps themselves I wibbled on a bit... but the voices were strong, and I am slightly canon-familiar, so I gave an in of confidence.

Kane I am actually very much unsure on. There were issues of words repeated too much and the whole thing was sort of... all over the place. Like I think it needed more of a focus on a few things, rather than "let me do this, I'm doing this, now I will do this". I did get a fairly good sense of voice, but being completely canon unfamiliar I don't know if it was the right voice.
