Chiyo loves to bake, and will gladly make cookies or brownies for anyone who would like some. She is also very attached to her friends, and tries her best to cheer them up when they’re down. Poll Vote! Character: Kazuki Makabe
Series:
Soukyuu no FafnerAge: 14
Canon: Makabe Kazuki is the central character of Soukyuu no Fafner. It is one of those series that star teenagers in giant robots fighting against mysterious aliens in order to save their hometown (Tatsumiya Island: "the last paradise on earth") from doom. The aliens are golden, sparkly, and commonly resemble a 24-carat squid, only prettier.
Kazuki is a pilot, as you'd expect. He's also a kind, sensitive kid, though he can be violent and impulsive, like anyone else, really. His major traumatic experience was nearly blinding his best friend, Minashiro Soushi, in his left eye at age 7 or 8. They couldn't speak to each other for many years after that.
Kazuki is also quite physically able.
Um... excuse me?
I'm looking for a person named Fred. He's.. short, and green. An alligator, I think. Probably. He might be a crocodile, too... I can't really tell the difference. He works for an agency here. "FEMA," I think he said it was. He was supposed to be my contact here.
I... He said there were rebuilding opportunities here through his agency, that this place, "Louisiana," needed people to rebuild things Fred said that he'd meet me at Camp Fuck You Die. That's what this is, right? I have a map, if that would help. But, if he's not here... I don't see any of the places he mentioned, except this place. I don't know what I should do. Are you... can I help you? You aren't exactly homeless, but... surely, there's something I can do while I'm here.
Poll Vote! Character: Laharl
Series: Makai Senki Disgaea
Age: 1313 (appears 13)
Canon: Laharl is the main character of Makai Senki Disgaea. He is the son and rightful heir to be King of the Netherworld, but during his two year "nap" (which was only supposed to be a few weeks long), his father, the Overlord King Krichevskoy, dies from choking on his favorite snack (black pretzels), and many of the King's vassals leave the castle. When Laharl awakes from his slumber thanks to help from Etna, a vassal who, although loyal to Laharl's father her loyalties towards Laharl can be questionable. Laharl must fight to reclaim his title as Overlord of the Netherworld. Laharl, despite his adolescent appearance, is actually 1313 years old. He loves nothing more than causing discomfort to those around him and especially loves to be the 'Big Boss'. Laharl is incredibly arrogant and always tries to prove that he is the strongest demon in the Netherworld. He does, however, possess incredible power for his age. Unfortunately, he has a weakness towards optimistic sayings (especially anything concerning the word 'love') and women with attractive figures.
Y-You DARE to touch me, Laharl, Overlord of the Netherworld?! TAKE THIS! Hmph. Let that be a lesson to you peons. I hope that will teach you not to lay a finger, much less a mouth, on one who is obviously your better. So, what's this that I am to conquer now? Camp Fuck You Die? How crass. I think I will conquer it. This will be incredibly easy, especially for my overwhelming intellect and skill. Ackphbbt! WHO PUSHED ME?! I know I didn't just trip! Now own up! Tch, fine, I'll just have to find and destroy you later. Oh, uh, hello. Uh, Miss Uh Would-Be-Sexy-If-You-Weren't-Rotting-Zombie-Lady, w-what are you doing? P-Please put your clothes back on! Get away from me! AHHHHH! TAKE THIS AND THAT AND THIS! That was utterly frightening. Now, back to business, conquering this dismal camp.
Now then, what will I conquer first, the lake or the cabins? How about both? Scout! Look ahead towards those buildings over there and report back. Scout? Scout! Fine, desert your Lord, I will find you later. ETNA! Come take care of this for me! Etna? What?! You've deserted me too? SOLDIER! WHAT?! Has everyone deserted me?! Fine, Camp Fuck You Die, I'll conquer you myself. ACK! So, you're back for more? I told you that I would destroy you for pushing me now show yourself!

Monou FuumaSeries: X/1999
Age: 17
Canon: The year is 1999 and the apocalypse is at hand. Fuuma's closest childhood friend, and love interest Shirou Kamui, is forced to make a choice. Should he choose to become a Dragon of Heaven and fight to save mankind, or become a Dragon of Earth and fight to destroy it? He doesn't realize that Fuuma is his "twin star" and therefore fated to become the opposite of whatever he chooses. When Kamui chooses to become a Dragon of Heaven, Fuuma is forced into the opposite role, a Dragon of Earth. In the space of mere seconds he goes from the kind of boy who helps old ladies cross the street to the kind of boy who can kill the people he loves and enjoy it.
After the transformation, Fuuma is manipulative, charming, and extremely dangerous. He also has a unique ability that allows him to see the true wishes of other people, along with a compulsion to fulfill those wishes in any way he can. Unfortunately, the wishes don?t often turn out the way people want them to. It doesn't help his victims that Fuuma often tends to remind them of the person they care about the most. Although he can seem completely indifferent to those he kills, on rare occasions he shows hints of emotion, leading some Kamui to believe that the gentle boy Fuuma used to be is not completely dead.
Hmm. This is familiar. I seem to have ended up with a great deal of blood on my hands. I was just walking down one of the charming forest trails minding my own business when I was attacked by what looked like some kind of cassowary. I tried to push it away without hurting it, but I seem to have accidentally snapped its neck. What a shame. It must have wished to die. Perhaps someone could be so kind as to show me the way to the camp toilets so I could clean up a bit. As lovely as I find that shade of red, I'd really rather it came from more intimate sources.
Although I've only been here a short time, I've gotten the impression that there are quite a few people around camp who have unique skills. As I have some minor abilities myself I was thinking of starting a club so that we could...ahem...learn from each other. If you could just let me know exactly what your ability is, how powerful it is on a scale from 1-10, and the number of people you have killed, I'll take your membership into consideration. For example, an ability at level 1 would mean that you can do something utterly useless like heal people with your bodily fluids, while a level 10 would mean that you could use your fingernail clippings to cause mass destruction and chaos. Actually, now that I think about it, please don't bother contacting me at all if you're below a level 5. That will save us all time and trouble. ♥
I was thinking that as our first community service project the club could tackle this "barrier" that I've heard so much about. My dear grandmother has been very ill and I don't want the barrier getting in the way of our weekly visits. My father and sister have recently passed away so the dear old woman is all I have left. I'm sure there are other people at camp who are in the same situation. After all, the people you care about are so very precious, aren't they?
Poll Vote! Character: Asakura Hao
Series: Shaman King (manga)
Age: 14
Canon: Asakura Hao! Well, if you want the short version, genocidal pyromaniac with long pretty hair and Lego gloves.
But, if you really must elaborate, here goes: Born in the Heian period of Japan 1000 years ago, Hao believed that humans were corrupt and ignorant so he set out to become shaman king and destroy all those with low or no shamanic power (furyoku) to create his perfect world, a shaman only kingdom. His family and followers found out about his eeeevil plan, and killed him. Only to find out he was powerful so he could reincarnate 500 years later, into the Patch tribe. And he tried to reach his goal… again, but he was killed by his family. Again. That would’ve sucked for him, but he could of course reincarnate. Now, in his third life, Asakura Hao is born of the Asakura family with a twin brother, Asakura Yoh, thanks to an unexpected soul-split. Currently the strongest contender of the Shaman Fight, has a powerful fire spirit named Spirit of Fire which he stole in from patch 500 years ago. He makes his spirit stronger by feeding it souls of shaman with a considerably large amount of furyoku. He has a cool attitude and likes to stargaze, but he is definitely not a slacker. It is a bad, bad thing if you get in his way, cuz he gunna burn u lolz.
I do believe it's not supposed to snow in the middle of summer in this part of America. This ‘laptop’ incorrect in saying that this place is Hell. I have been there twice, and Hell is much worse. This is what happens when humans pollute. They upset the balance of nature. I do not want to mingle with any of these inferior humans, but it seems as though some of them have… 'unique' abilities that I may be able to use... I can feel their power, though it's a bit different from furyoku.
Taking a walk in their forests I can see that there is nothing normal about this place. I can see them all... The earthbound spirits that roam around here who are stuck here because of their grudges... How pitiful these human souls are. These kyonshin, or as the campers would prefer to call them, zombies, utter nothing but the word braaaaaiiiiinnnsss, probably due to the fact that they are completely mindless and are most probably controlled by the ‘Camp Director.’ Whoever this person may be, she appears to have a large amount of furyoku. She would make a fine lunch for Spirit of Fire.
...The local wildlife grabbed me by the hair the moment I said ‘lunch.’ Apparently, it thinks I am its lunch. The zombies and the campers are now most definitely not the only stupid things in this camp.
I have found these 'moogle' beings interesting. They can resurrect those who are dead. This must mean they have great amounts of furyoku, though they don't look like God class spirits at all. They remind me of one of my followers, but I don't feed my teammates to my spirit. They wouldn't even think of betraying me because they'll know the consequences. There are a few of them chattering ‘kupo’ endlessly by the camp lake, I will have to investigate...
... What is that in the lake. I think I may be changing my mind, this place is on par with, if not worse than, Hell.
It really is too bad that Spirit of Fire isn’t here. I could simply make him eat the souls of the camp directors and these kupo creatures, burn down the camp, and I would be on my way. This place interests me mildly, but I have more important things to do. I will simply have to walk out and--
It seems that an unseen force is keeping me here. I have made up my mind about this now: I will have to feed the director to Spirit of Fire as soon as possible. Doubtless I will be able to get past it in time, but for now I am unable. I will have to sit by this tree, enjoy the view of the stars and wait until tomorrow.
I don’t believe that the director has enough power to keep a barrier up that long.
...If the laptop flashes ‘shunnnnnn the nonbeliever’ at me one more time I will have to burn it.
Poll Vote! Character: Trisana "Tris" Chandler
Series:
Circle Of Magic by Tamora Pierce
Age: 18
Canon: Tris is fastidious, practical, straight-forward, cynical, easily aggravated, and sarcastic. However, she's also extremely protective of the helpless and, though she tries to hide it, is very kind. She does have something of a quick temper, which she's mostly learned to control - because when she gets angry, things tend to get destroyed. She's also a serious bookworm and something of a loner. She doesn't exactly lack a sense of humor (or she would have killed her foster-brother years ago), but what humor she does possess is very dry.
Tris is an incredibly powerful weather mage - "weather" encompassing her affinity with lightning, wind, earthquakes, tides, etc. - she keeps power from these tied up in her braids to use in emergencies. She can also hear and see things happening elsewhere on the wind. She tries to hide her level of power, though - she dislikes drawing attention to herself. Because she's learned the hard way what lack of control can do, she hates when others are irresponsible with magic.
Chime is Tris's pet dragon, a magical construct of glass and lightning created accidentally by an untrained mage. And yes, she really does eat anything.
I woke up today in an extremely unusual forest - last time I checked, living metal trees were Daja's area - with a "zombie" chewing on my braids. Or trying to chew on my braids. I don't think that it expected to be hit with lightning like that Urda bless me, the stench is disgusting. From what I've heard so far, this is a normal thing here. That is, these 'zombies', not the burning them to bits. They don't seem to be particularly dangerous, at least. Bizarre, but not dangerous.
...Although they are, apparently, edible. Chime, stop eating the flesh of the undead this instant. It is not food.
As for the decidedly more important matter at hand - why did I wake up with a "zombie" attempting to eat my head, and where am I? This is obviously no place in Emelan, or anywhere else I've ever been. Even the wind is behaving strangely and I don't even want to know about those cloud formations. What fool of a mage has been working here? I've never seen a weather system tied up like this! It's no minor miracle everyone here hasn't died already. This place is one giant mess of badly-worked spells.
My name is Trisana Chandler, and believe me, this will be reported to the local Mages' Guild. As soon as someone tells me where I am.
