IN A FIT OF MASSIVE HILARITY, we had a dup. For an app I posted earlier. ... oops! After talking with the others, we decided instead to gank it and post both apps once the app period closed. Character Age: 18
Canon: Lacus is a widely-known name in the SEED-verse (mostly on PLANT-a group of space colonies-where she lived in the first series). She is the daughter of an important political figure, and also a singer/idol. Likely due to her upbringing, she speaks in a very polite manner at all times, though she can get quite serious when needed (she has commanded her own spaceship, after all). She is the former (arranged) fiancé of Athrun Zala, but is in a relationship with Kira Yamato as of Destiny (the second series) canon.
Despite coming off as very naive and perhaps even airheaded at first, she's very intelligent, and is often portrayed as sort of an omniscient goddess-type character - she has the ability to stay calm and composed in almost any situation. That said, if something doesn't sit right with her, she will be all over it, as she is not someone to sit around and wait for others to make things right. She's virtually always accompanied by a small, round, pink robot called 'Haro' (pet-named "Pink-chan"), which bounces and flies and chatters about nothing in particular. It was made and given to her by Athrun when they were around 14.

Is that how we are treating each other? We must stop violating the personal privacy of others so carelessly! How can we expect to come together as a community if some of us live in fear of what others may do to them non-consensually? No one likes to be taken advantage of, and we should be waiting for someone we love to do that. Together we can make sure everyone feels welcome and safe!
Even the undead should feel more welcome here. You call them 'zombies', I understand, but is that not crude? They are just like you, except they've died and been somehow reanimated. They have rights, too! Maybe if we treat them more graciously, they will return the favor! They must have poor, tortured souls that long for deliverance underneath all that decay. When they come to us, arms outstretched, our instinct is to run away... but what if all they really want is a hug? Can we not at least try to feel their pain?
Friends, it has become apparent to me that this camp is rather like a world of its own. Like any other world, it can be changed if we work together. Anything is possible-this may be a beautiful and peaceful world one day, and we have the power to make it so. I believe in all of you! Together we can turn Camp Fuck You Die into Camp Love You Live-nay, Thrive! How I look forward to that day!
And so, everyone, that is why I have climbed to the top of the highest tree, on the highest hill in camp, with the largest megaphone I could find: so that my voice may carry to you, wherever you are, and that you may answer my calling.
I pray that it finds you safe from harm, and without the hand of a shady stranger down your pants.

Canon: At first glance, Lacus Clyne looks like the sweetest girl you'll ever meet from outer space. She's beautiful, kind, and sweet to a fault. She's also mild-mannered and polite to everyone she meets. Lacus finds no wrong in others and doesn't hold grudges. Being that she's also the daughter of the chairman of PLANT (space colonies home to Coordinators, who are genetically-engineered humans) and a popular songstress, Lacus is loved by everyone.
Lacus is a lover and not a fighter, but she won't hesitate to knock you down. At times, Lacus may seem childish and a bit naive, but she definitely isn't stupid. She's aware of the situations that go on around her and acts accordingly. When Lacus does get serious, her demeanor changes from that of a sweet child to a stern mother. She will do everything in her power to fight against what she thinks is wrong, like stealing and comandeering her own spaceship.
With Lacus, words truly are mightier than a sword. Not only can she make speeches that scare grown-up politicians, but her words can help people who've lost their way back to a path that they believe in (figuratively, not literally).
Lacus is almost always seen with her companion Haro, who is a pink robot ball she calls Pink-chan.

Why thank you kind sir for getting Pink-chan and myself out of our shuttle! I'm sorry if our sudden landing disturbed you, but our shuttle crashed into something, so our pilot went out to take a look. He hasn't come back in a while, so I do hope he's alright.
Earth is a very interesting place though, isn't it sir? Up in space, it seems so blue and clear, you never would imagine that there's places like this that exist. The environment is so dark and gloomy, and this swampy climate makes it seem that living here would be a bit uncomfortable for the residents. But I think that's one of the more charming points of Earth, don't you think?
Oh dear, how rude of me, I didn't notice that you were injured! You should've said something if you were in pain. We need to go find help right away, but first we should try to clean up your wounds and get you new bandages before we move you anywhere else. Sir, I know you're in a lot of pain, but you're going to have to stop moaning and moving around so much or else you'll hurt yourself even more. Sir, I asked you to...would you please...
SIR! That is quite enough! I'm terribly sorry that you've been left alone in such a state for who knows how long, but you must control yourself! I am trying to help you, and it is in your best interest to cooperate with me so that both of us may come out of this situation fairly well. You thrashing and shrieking about isn't going to help anyone, especially you. You, sir, need to rethink your situation and decide for yourself which would be the better course of action to take: ignore people's help and go on suffering by yourself or accept my help and get better. If everyone in the world had a disagreeable attitude like yours, peace will never come between the Coordinators and Naturals, and more people will get hurt and die. Everyone would constantly argue and fight with each other for trivial or selfish reasons, and innocent people will get hurt. Is that the world you want for yourself? For your friends and loved ones? Is it?! I understand that many people you cared about may have been lost, but that is no reason to keep hurting yourself like this. For the sake of the ones you lost, stand up and keep moving forward! Find a purpose in life to help others so that this kind of tragedy won't happen again to anyone else.
Now, please calm yourself, or I will have to restrain you by force. I will find a way to contact my ship and its crew members to come down here if it must come to that.
