I have been talking to the camp that we are using for camplj this week, and they have agreed to extend the payment date to August 1 (after I made another deposit ... of course). So ... this means that you have 20 more days to get the cash-o-la together for it and make a payment through the http://www. ( Read more... )

.. there are only a handful at this point that are completely paid, but I know that there are others like yourself, forrest, badboyjohn, etc. that are planning on it still, etc.

I don't have all the stuff with me here at work unfortunately.

Any idea how much I still owe?

Well, let's check. I should be able to figure this out.

Paypal records show that I sent my initial $25 reservation, and then only one payment of $75. Well, that wasn't very forward-thinking of me. Probably should have sent more payments on top of that. Hrm.

FAQ page says we're looking at 2 nights? At $110.55 if it's multiple-occupancy. So, I guess those are the two variables. Assuming the three day thing doesn't mean 3 nights, and that I'm bunking with the masses...

That'd make my total $221.10, which means I still owe $121.10.

Does that sound right?

hehe ... it's two nights total that you'll be staying. Arriving on Friday afternoon and leaving on Sunday afternoon. I think that sounds about right, but after two rita's - lol ... ya know :-)

I sat through the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen tonight. Meeting y'all would have been an infinitely better choice. Learned my lesson!

Problem is, afterwards? There's still that drive home. I seem to get pulled over on the 126 every time I'm out that way. And while I haven't tried getting pulled over with traces of alcohol in my bloodstream, it just seems like that'd be bad.

See. That got your attention. I saw the long thread and decided I needed to make a splash.

Well. I'm in for sure. I was going to cancel, but on the Camp LJ website, the only choices are "I'm going" or "I suck". And I just don't suck. So I guess I'm going. You're all a bunch of peers and I feel the pressure.

Seriously...I'm looking forward to it. You should have gotten my payment balance notification. Damn, but there was no option on Paypal for "Send Monopoly Money"...so it's actual cash.

As for committees, I'm not sure exactly what they all entail, but my entire life is a game, so perhaps that's where I belong? I could also help on the recruitment committee as my peer pressure skills are pretty darn good as well.

In short, I will help wherever you need/want help. Consider me your man-slave for the weekend.
