Same here. I thought I did, but in reality I missed the people that mean something to me, some of which are back at home. So I mean I want to talk to them and such, and admittedly I am glad that I don't have to put up with shit anymore. You know what I'm talking about - here there is no anger, no irritation, only good times and smiles all around.
So yes, I do miss my hometown in a sense, as in my family, my friends back at home, and like matt said, by friends that went to college (YOU!) but I don't miss the bastards and the high school drama.
College is what you make it - try not to get too hung up on Stoughton, but do remember the good times that you had but don't let it affect the good times you will have.

After coming home I feel the same way. At the football game there were wuite a few people home from collge and it made me happy. It's not the town, it's the people.
