I was out for a late night walk and decided to take a side path through a field. It was a very nice path really, all open field with some big trees and shrubs and such. So I was contentedly walking allong not really paying attention, rounded the berry patch and ran into the beastie. A little side note, my island has had a single lone female black

But a flash light would spoil the joy of walking in the night... It's to enjoy the night sky and stars, and the feel of peace and solitude you get in the dark. Yes, I think she's become pretty aclimated to humans saddly. If she gets too acclimated they'll put her down. I'd LOVE to meet some alines, as long as they keep the probes to themselves.

Is a small island that has one known predator besides us people. The bear. And she's almost always at the south end. We sometimes get a cougar show up, but that's every 2-3 years maaaybe. (And I met one of them here too... Hmm.)

I wish I had been less petrified and actually able to pet her or some such, buuut in hind sight that might have got me et. :) But I am thankful for the experiance. I'm sure some day you'll have a chance, I just hope you'll be less petrified than I.
