Ok I need a new friends only banner..anyone have any ideas where to go ?

in the searcg thing on livejournal...type in stuff like...graphix, graphics, banners, etc. and click on some of the communites that come up and they might have some nifty ones...or you can maybe request one. ;]

how do i make my journal friends only and make sure it stays that way??

you have to go through every single one of your entries...and edit them...and click under i think security...click friends only. then after you make all of your past entries friends only...you just for now on do that on all your new ones.
