They really are. Cuz you KNOW you're awake and you're supposed to be asleep. And the more you try to force yourself to sleep, the more worked up your head gets.

And thinking about it, there would be a bit of resistance to it, too. Cuz I'm carrying home a bag full of mostly liquid things from the Meijer that's about half to 2/3 of a mile away from my apartment.

yeah, definitely. it's like me walking all over campus with my bookbag... that definitely weighs me down! so yes, it's a good amount of exercise. :)

Well with sleep paralysis, you don't move. At all. no tossing or turning. And it usually doesn't last all that long. The longest it lasted for me before I snapped out of it was about 10 minutes. It was absolutely terrible.
