Heading to Chicago for the today and a brief part of tomorrow so that I could collect data for my project. I always like going up there because of the train ride up. I get to take the train next semester to Chicago to speak at the Illinois State Academy of Science (ISAS)Symposium. I have never rode on a train before, I'm excited. Dr. Kitz is coming with, which is good considering how navigationally challenged I am. Although, getting lost can be really exciting...you can find places you wouldn't have otherwise.

How long is the ride one-way? Just curious...I'll probably make some stranger suffer and listen to my presentation. ;)

You're awesome.

A one-way is about 4 hours or so. I really enjoy the ride up and back down. I really don't know why. The atmoshere is really conducive to studying, I guess. Pop in some headphones and bang away (crazy thought just popped into my head, but I'll steer clear from my thoughts).

Anyway, enjoy yourself. How'd you like the post about the old man in the crowd at the conference? I thought that would bring a different perspective to conference presentations.

Enjoy.

yeah...you just keep your crazy thoughts to yourself now. I AM a lady, you know.... ;)

Chicago will never be the same without five of us stuffed in one small hotel room, sharing two beds. And the drinking; one can never forget the drinking.
