Fun Times in Canada With My Little Guy
As I mentioned in my 23 week pregnancy update, Tyler and I have been busy and having lots of fun!
Last Thursday we had a rainy day (too much rain this trip!) so Tyler and I headed back to Kids Zone to climb and play.
Yep, I was up in the climber with Tyler taking these pictures!
Most evenings Tyler plays trains with my mom.
Friday morning Tyler and I headed to the mall to pick up some popcorn. We were planning Tyler's first movie and popcorn night. Tyler has never had popcorn before, and so I had to convince him to try some. I didn't have to do any convincing when it came to a special treat of juice and a muffin for lunch at Tim Hortons. Looking at these pictures he could be an honourary Canadian!
Later that night... POPCORN!
Saturday morning was a bit chilly but I had a great walk/ride to the park with Tyler, my mom, and Sofie. Sofie was feeling a bit left out on the ground, so she even joined us on a climber!
Really, I'm not even sure what to say about this one...
Yesterday morning Tyler and I took the baked French Toast I made over to my friend's house where we met up with the NF ladies and their sons/niece. We've been having our get togethers (restaurants, pubs, our homes, etc) for probably around 14 or so years now, and how things have changed! We were missing a couple of friends, but now three of us have sons, 2 are pregnant, and one had her niece with us. Breakfast and company were wonderful, the kids played great together (one was a little reluctant to join in the fun with the others) and then it was outside for some fall fun!
Later that day Tyler and I met up with my friend and her niece at the playground. The little ones met when they were a lot younger, they had played together really well at breakfast that morning, and had so much fun at the park together in the afternoon. Tyler was so excited when he spotted Avery approaching the park that he ran straight to her calling her name!
Today was a rainy day. Ty and I spent the morning around the house. This afternoon my dad took Tyler on a walk and I headed out for hot chocolate with my mom. Not sure what the plan is tomorrow, but I'm sure we'll have fun :o) We're leaving on Saturday, so we only have a few more days with my family.
