yah! hockeyhockeyhockey! I've already been to my first pre-season game, and it wasn't enough. I'm going again in two weeks, and hope my team doesn't suck *g*

The new shootout rules are going to come back to *haunt* me at the end of the season, when all the points are tallied and the Leafs fall two points short.

Well, at least the Blues finally WON a game! I can understanda against Detroit, but it was getting very embarrassing. We lost 6-7. I was at that game, and it was awesome, and how can a team lose if they score SIX GOALS?

Oy.

I must console myself by thinking of a new story, involving the return of hockey and Rodney and Radek...with John and his love o'football thrown in...hm....

From what I've seen of the season so far, I have a feeling that *that* is a statement that will be shouted by losing team fans *everywhere* for the next 8 months. And the shootout thing seemed like it was going to be such a GOOD idea too -- too bad my guys can't seem to find the back of friggin' NET.
