I have a random question, have you ever traveled without the use of a laptop? Because, I'm curious about how convenient it would be to rely entirely on internet cafes or hostel business centres to contact my family. Do they let you plug in your USB sticks to transfer images or recharge an MP3 player? Thanks. :)
Oh yeah I went to Canada for 1 year without a laptop and just to keep in touch with my friends/family over email and update my LJ with pictures and stuff was no problem whatsoever. I am just too addicted right now to TV-shows and fandom to do that again ;)
There are always plenty Internet cafes around that will allow you to plug in your USB stick or camera and sometimes you can also burn CDs there (with your pictures) and print. Most major cities also have free Internet at libraries (and if you do have a laptop free wifi at MacDonalds).
As for rechardging, I had an iPod myself when I was in Canada which a cable to recharge it over a computer but I bought a recharger I could plug into a socket instead. It was just more convenient than wasting money on a computer at an Internet cafe just to recharge something. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions
Gorgeous, gorgeous gorgeous. I love ruins and old buildings. So romantic... and kind of gothic.
Also, about the Tasmanian devil road sign: is it wishful thinking to expect the Looney Tunes version of that animal instead of the more realistic approach? XD

That taz devil sign is made of pure awesome. They had to use the funniest/craziest picture of the animal.
