I got a new digital camero.. oh.. 2 or 3 weeks ago.. it's da bomb...
(it's been so long since i updated regularily.. i can't remember what I've said when I've said it, lol)
Don't mind the leave in teh upper left corner there... that's not part of the paining.. I've got leaves hanging form my livingroom ceiling right now.. I'll post a pic once these are done....

yup, I know it's huge, but the smaller version did show the gold outlining very well... and don't mind that it says sara cunningham in the signature.. I'll be fixing that as soon as I can mix the right shade of orange together and get me another of them gold gel pens (that's how I did all teh outlining too) it's supposed to mean "Talent Succeeds in it's own time" if I remember correctly (too lazy to get up and check, lol) it's from a book of chinese folk designs (paper cutting) I only signed it Sara Cunningham to spite my mother, lol.. sad sad.. I know...
another big one, yes indeedy.. don't mind the white chalk at teh top, or the gold pencil crayon.. my Zoe thought she was being helpful one day *rolleyes* and the ANGEL is a light metallic purple.. kind of lilacish.. this is one of my dissappointments... dissapointments you say?? yes.. the picture I had in my head was oh so much more beautiful that this.... it's what's put me off painting anything majour lately.... so pretty in my head...... always the way I guess... and I know I'm my worst critic....
last one... this one and the one of my grandmother were both entered into art shows.. hence why they're framed. I had entered 5 pieces... but I gave one to my mother, (comedy and tragedy... I'll have to see if I can find the origional that I redid... or redo it again.. I liked that one.. but I had done the shadow wrong for tragedy, so I let my mom have it, since she loves it so much, and I figured I'd just do another one...) and anotehr to my sister (freaky lookin guy with orange spikey hair...) and the other is peaches done same style as the phoenix above ^ but the colours have faded??? at least the peach colour has... to my eye anyway.... but anyway.. my hand at water colour.. really not keen on that medium.. but it's my dad's fav, so I keep trying just for him... he was always going on (and still does) about how I'd be a famous artist some day... anywho... was having some fun with my camera earlier, lol.
ok.. I did an LJ cut and it would appear that the pictures dissappeared.... but DID they.. I do not know..... so if these pictures are doubled when I hit update... now you know why :)
