I know, right?! It totally made my day! Probably my week, at least, because I'm still super happy about it.

I know, that is what I can't figure out. The only theory I have is that I am part of a Random Acts of Kindness group on Ravelry, where you can post wishlists and other people can choose to gift you things from your list if they so desire. You can also give your address to the moderator of the group, so that if people want to send you anonymous things, they can just get your address from the mod and do so. But I don't even know if that would be it, because the only wishlist I posted there was in December. And even if someone saw my post 3 months later and wanted to send me something on it, the note saying "things will get better" strikes me as someone who knows something of the difficulties I've been experiencing lately, and that's not something that's come up on ravelry ever . . . so that basically brings me back to, I have no clue, haha. But yes, the needles are definitely fun and pretty colors! :D

That really is so damn cool and thoughtful of the person who sent the gift! Did you ever find out who it was?

Nope! Still no idea, but I sent a nice thank you note to the return address that was on the envelope. :-)
