from underneath the rubble, sing a rebel song

Wooooooooooo! I have survived this ridiculous school year! My boss made a comment to us at our end-of-year staff meeting on Thursday about surviving the year, and honestly, survived really is the right word for it. This was a rough year all around, for almost everyone I talked to, and I am really glad to see it over and done with. Here's hoping for ( Read more... )

Yeah, I mean, it would have been shitty at any time of year, but it's definitely not a great start to the summer.

Thanks, I hope so too. It's . . . better-ish today, in that my stomach doesn't hurt much when I'm sitting or laying down, but as soon as I stand up, there's still a lot of pain. :-/ Go away, bug! No one wants you.

Yeah, for real. Extra money is always helpful. I hope you're able to make some money from your stash!

That's so sad about the student. :( I can't even imagine. What a way to end the school year. :(

How are you feeling today? I hope you're doing better! I started off with what I thought was my own bug on Sunday night/Monday morning, but turns out it may just be anxiety so I've been feeling like crap. I hope you're no longer feeling like crap! Stomach stuff sucks s much.

I hope you're able to sleep more! Did you find some strawberries? :) Ooh when is the wedding?!

Thank you! Not 100%, but doing better. I'm glad you are, too! It's miserable to be surrounded by yummy food and not wanting to eat it!

I hope you can stay there for awhile! Woot at sleeping in until past 8! Definitely beats 6. Does your sleep schedule coincide with Brad's?

Yay strawberries! And YAY WEDDINGS! You're going to eat so many yummy things!

Does your sleep schedule coincide with Brad's?
Hahahahaha, no. Not even a little bit, lol. Brad is always up wayyyyy later than me, and therefore sleeps wayyyyyy later than me. We're maybe in bed together for . . . 3-5 hours of the night? :-/ It's something I'm trying to get him to work on, because his sleep schedule is really not good for him.

When I was a junior in high school, one of my classmates was killed in a car accident near the end of the year. It's so horrifying when someone so young dies. My heart definitely goes out to the students and their families.

So are you off for the rest of the summer then? Hopefully you'll be able to start sleeping in soon. I can barely make it past 8:30 or 9:00 any more.

I'm guessing that you got the $100 for creating an account with ING and setting up direct deposit or something like that. I'm surprised they didn't tell you about that when you signed up for the account, though. Banks around here always have specials like that.

Yeah, it's tragic when anyone dies unexpectedly like that, but it somehow seems more terrible when it's someone young. :-/ That must have been really hard for you when your classmate died.

Yep, I'm off until after Labor Day! :D Very excited. And I did sleep till about 8:15 this morning which is a big improvement. I normally don't sleep any later than 8:30 or 9 either, so this is pretty much where I want to be.

Yeah, I don't remember seeing any message or info indicating that I'd get the bonus for doing x - I feel like that would've been something that immediately caught my attention!! It's probably something like that, though, just not sure what. I'll call them tomorrow when it's not a holiday and find out.
