put down your sword and crown, come lay with me on the ground

Day 5 of summer vacation. Or day 2, if you don't count the weekend, since I wouldn't have been working those days anyway. Thankfully, my stomach bug has passed, and I'm feeling much better/more like myself now. It was mostly gone by Sunday, actually, although I still had next to no appetite that day. This was especially a shame, because the girls ( Read more... )

Yeah, I've been to them at least a couple times in my life, but I was actually kind of surprised when I found out that Brad had never been to one! Hopefully if we get to go to one soon, there will be plenty of food! :)

I'm so glad you're feeling better! Having no appetite while being surrounded by yummy food sucks!

Aww, your Canada Day story sounds fantastic! I hate being in crowds here because everyone is always pushing and being rude, ugh. :(

I'd love to donate! Is Paypal the only way? I have an account there, but I don't have it linked to my bank and because Eric's pp *is* inked to the bank I can't send money that way. :\ Would it work if I sent something in the mail instead? I feel absolutely dumb for not knowing if you can use US dollars in Canada. :\

Thanks, me too. Turns out Brad had a nasty stomach thing going on yesterday! Not sure if it's the same thing I had or something else, but hopefully we're all done with stomach ailments for awhile!

Yeah, I mean there were some rude people here, of course, there always are, but I feel like the majority of people were pretty calm and polite, and that isn't always the case in the States.

Oh, thank you, hon! That's really sweet of you. No, Paypal's not the only way, I just posted that because I thought it might be easy for people. I think if you wanted to send something in the mail, you could just do either a check or money order. Most banks here will take US money, so I can deposit it and convert it to Canadian here. There are plenty of places here that will actually take US dollars, too, but it's no problem for me to take it to any bank. Sometimes they just take a little longer to process US dollar checks than Canadian ones, that's all. But thank you for wanting to send something; it's really really sweet of you. ♥

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same thing. It's amazing (in a bad way, haha) how easily illnesses can spread!

Of course! <3 I'll send something asap. :D Can you send me your address in a message on here? I thought I had it on my phone but I don't. :\
