Good morning, LJ friends! I'm up bright and early, so I figured now's a good time for a post. Actually I've been up since about 7:15 this morning, so I've already showered and had breakfast, because the original plan was that I was going to give Becca a ride down to the border so she could sort out her work permit with immigration and we were going ( Read more... )

It's Tuesday so you're back at work! I hope you had a great first day and that it wasn't hard waking up this morning.

Do you watch the show Game of Thrones? I don't remember.

The bachelorette party sounds fun! Your sounds like it was fun, too. I'm much more a fan of that rather than the typical stuff. Though, I see a by in one of the pictures you posted! Madness! :D

I ammm, yes. And yes, the first day back was pretty good, thankfully. To be honest the first day back is always more "work" than actual work, as it was like 90% catching up with my coworkers and finding out how everyone's summer was. It's usually a pretty easy transition back; the real work won't really start until next week most likely, and even then it'll be a few weeks before we're up to full steam.

No, I haven't watched the show yet. The books have been on my to read list for years and I wanted to read them before I watched the show. So I'll probably check it out once I've read the books!

Haha, yes, there was one token male at Erin's bachelorette party. But yeah, the board games thing is definitely way more my scene than the typical get-drunk-watch-strippers-etc. kind of party would be. (To be fair, there were no strippers involved at Erin's party either.)

Sounds good! :-)

I look forward to seeing what you think of the book! I know a few people who have read them, and it seems they usually take breaks between books because they're so intense/long.

That's awesome! How'd he do?

Haha, you know what? I have no idea. I assume he was fine, but I never actually got to meet or speak to him at the party, so I really don't know! Lol!
