Lol! Seriously though, I love this kind of stories. A bit of sadness but nothing too angsty and tons of sweetness. For me, thats what Jeff and Annie are about.

it really is great characterization and the way it's written makes it seem like it could happen in the show. I adore it.

This was a wonderful plot. The ice storm, even though a real thing that happened to you, had a metaphoric vibe to it, like the adage about lying being a slippery slope. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but I loved the symbolism. I will be eagerly looking forward to more of the group interaction with the fake couple and Jeff's mom too.

Thanks!!! Yeah, the symbolism was intentional, but I wasn't sure it was coming across the way I wanted, so I'm glad to hear that it did. Sadly, there's a lot less of the group in next chapters, but there's a lot MORE Jeff/Annie, so I hope that makes up for it. :P (I'm also working on another fic that has tons of the group in it, so there's that too.)
