Just as an FYI: I've been religiously stalking your blog for the past few weeks and not leaving comments (a felony I often chastise in my own readership) because I've been busy. Andrew and I, for a fact, have been talking about your pregnancy, the hilarity of your posts, and keep mentioning to others that "we have a friend who will be having a baby in...[look at wrist watch - which neither of us wear]...SOON!!"

So it's time to come out from under the cloak of silent blog admiration and celebrate with you by Posting a New Comment. Angela, you look amazing for just having popped out a 7 pound son and the picture of you two is absolutely breathtaking. You're my hero.

Also: pleeeeeese don't tell me that your delivery (12:48 pm) was actually ELEVEN HOURS after your contractions began (1:49 am). Please.

The whole labour, from water breaking (5pm - Sunday) to delivery (12:48pm - Monday) was actually 19 1/2 hours). Only 6 hours of that was active, though, and there was only 1/2 hour of pushing.
