I really miss my friends who are abroad. It's not a soul-crushing, angst-ridden kind of missing but it's acute and daily enough for me to really notice their absence in my life. Objectively I'm really flattered by this because this is the first time someone has actively romantically liked me by being my friend first and likes me after knowing what I really am. On one hand I'm conflicted because subjectively there are a lot of other factors, but the idea that a friend has developed feelings for me makes me giggle a little.

You know, I am completely fine with two of my roommates not being as close to me as they are with my last roommate, who I am also close with. They say best friends who all room together eventually have schisms and I'm willing to be cordial to these two until the day I graduate.
