NMU update
I just got my acceptance letter from NMU. I head up to Marquette this weekend to spend some time with a friend. Apartment searches start in July, with a friend with whom I'll be rooming. Awesome!

Well, I'm wondering if Kendall is meant for me. I believe that things happen for a reason, and I seem to having to be jumping through a dozen hoops for Kendall. Laid off
You know, most people get pretty upset when they get laid off. While not upset, I was rather shocked at the suddenness of which I was laid off at Bullfrog. Right after my evaluation too. They said that while I was ok, my production hadn't been the same as it had been my first week. A) I only work two weeks now *and I work harder than some, not all ( Read more... ) -
Erestor
Erestor is quite the interesting fish. When it comes time for feeding, and I'm giving him bloodworms, he starts acting like an over eager dog. He starts wagging, yes wagging, his tail fins and his front? fins start waving back and forth extremely fast. He follows the bloodworm bottle where ever I take it, even after I set it down. New Camera
The days of me buying one-use cameras are over. Officially! I am the proud new owner of a digital camera. I've been wanting to get one for years, and now I have it. Which will be great for traveling, taking pics of large paintings I do for portfolio work, and general picture taking ( Read more... ) -
The dreaded feeling, Bleh!
It came upon me unawares last night. That draining, achy feeling that lets you know you are coming down with something akin to the cold or flu. I went to bed at 5:00, and slept very soundly until 8, at which time I got water to put next to my bed and took some Excedrin. I slept soundly from then until 6:15 am, to get up for work. I have finally figured out the yo-yo.
I know, sad. I'm 21 and just now figured out how to use the thing....

Well, I saw Sweeny Todd with my two cousins and the brother. It was good; I especially loved the song "Worst Pies in London". Update
Well, Christmas went well. I got a lot of art supplies and lots and lots of money to spend at Borders *movies, music and books, here I come!*. Sadly, I haven't seen Sweeny Todd yet, and that is what I consider my holiday film for the year ( Read more... ) -
RIP Loki, Welcome Erestor
Well, about 2 weeks ago, my betta, Loki, passed away. It was sad to see him go, but he lived a good life. Now, I have a new betta. It's also a male, and I've named him Erestor *in continuing with my brother's tradition of naming our bettas after Lord of the Rings characters, the first being Pippin*.
