The actual comments (red pen and all) that I received on my French exam:

"You have to be careful with conjugation and the use of tenses. You should have mentioned your origins and gone deeper into details. It's a pity.This comment was followed closely by a pretty embarassing grade. You'd think five years studying French PLUS a month in France
