You mean a lot to me. We used to be a lot closer than we are now but for obvious reasons but I really do still care a lot about you. I know we don't talk as much as we used but it's hard when we live so far apart, I really do regret not saying hi more often. I always enjoy being around you and talking with you. You are a smart kid with a bright future. You'll always be one of my best friends whether I'm one of yours or not.
I hope your feelings towards me are good, I mean we don't see much of each other but maybe once I move back down we can catch up on lost time. I like to think that we're still good friends but you might feel otherwise.
