I stumbled across an entry of yours in the October 2007 community - I'm considering joining even though my (fraternal) twin girls aren't due until late November. I'm also in several other pregnancy communities - you may have seen me post occasionally.
I understand that you don't feel comfortable adding any old person who stumbles across your journal, and as I don't think we've ever spoken I probably fall into that category. That's fine, I understand - but my journal is almost completely public if you want to poke around at all.
I would love to be able to read and communicate with somebody around my age (I'm 20) on having twin girls - as I'm sure you've noticed, it's kind of a rare demographic to fall into (ha ha) and I'm feeling a little more lonely and confused as to how this is EVER going to work the further along I get :/
Again, I'll take no offense if you choose not to add me - I know this is random. Just thought I'd ask :)

Yes, I think I do remember you actually - I haven't actually read those comms for ages (being a mum takes rather a lot of time, heh) but I do recall seeing your username.
I'd love to be your friend as you make your way through this adventure called pregnancy and birth. I don't consider myself an expert at it by any means (the husband and I learn on the job every day!) but I've dealt with stereotypes and fought battles with the best of them - you're quite correct, being young, married and pregnant doesn't exactly lead to acceptance among the general population! I think I'll really enjoy connecting with you and swapping stories.
Apologies for taking so long to get back to you, by the way! My girls came about a month early and as a result I've hardly had time to grab a bite to eat, let alone sit at the comp for five minutes. ;) I'll add you for sure.
Hi there! I'm not nearly as prolific a writer as Liz (senatorsfan_ink), no (having 16 month old twins rather curtails that, haha) but I've recently started getting back into fanfiction a little bit. Started with my Obi-Wan roleplaying journal, exiledjedi - which you are free to check out if you so desire, it's not f-locked - with which I participate in the community theatrical_muse, and am gradually working up to writing stories of my own.
Nothing posted here as of yet, but I expect I'll eventually start archiving stuff. Right now my main fandom activities are beta-ing Liz's fic and working on jedi_news, though I obviously hope that will change at some point. I'll have to check out your journal too - it's always nice to find other Obi-Wan fans out there! :-D
No worries. :-) To be perfectly honest it's not so much a roleplaying journal as it is just a collection of shortfics written to various prompts... I do occasionally roleplay there with Liz and one other person, but again, time constraints have made setting that up rather difficult so I mostly just write to the prompts now. However, fic will most likely be forthcoming at some point, maybe when the sprogs get a bit older. :-D
I shall have to check out your stuff, thanks for the rec! I admire your courage in writing Obi-Wan/Leia, tehe. She was the first SW character I loved (as I saw the OT before the PT) and she is still one of my absolute favourites. Obi-Wan coming a very close second of course. ;-)
And yes, I think I recall seeing you before while looking through naboonotes. Good to know you enjoy the work that we do--that's very nice to hear!
