My 21-year-old brother was diagnosed with acute leukemia yesterday. He was hospitalized right away and today they've already started some form of treatment. His seems to be an aggressive, fast-moving kind of cancer but fortunately it seems that they caught it at an early stage. He's also very fit and strong which should help.

I am putting together a care package for him and was wondering: Are the any specific books or audio tapes about healing cancer that you or your loved one found helpful or inspiring? Was there something you needed by your bedside that you couldn't have thought of before actually going through the experience? What helped you kill the time and sustain the periods of treatment?

I would very much appreciate your input. Love and prayers to all.
