people always tell you not to care about what others think of you and be true to yourself. because you shouldnt have to justify your actions to others. but lately i have found that this principle might not work as well as i thought it did. because ive discovered that people view me far differently than how i view myself. not that i have this ( Read more... )

wow, i must be a commenty mood b/c this is my 3rd one in a row. anyway, i know there are so many things people don't know about me that are very essential to who i am and that there are tons of things i don't know about even my closest friends, its hard to really get to KNOW people. like i appreciate it when friends butt in b/c i'll talk about anything if i'm asked and its cool when someone wants to learn more about you and then you usually learn more about them. blah blah, ignore my rambling, anyway yah...

Hmm...well, I concur, sort of. It seems nobody knew I wear dresses. Or that I like CSI. But now you know. I don't really see why a person should stop being true to herself just because of this revelation, though. But then the real question becoems, Isn't that other "you" that people like just as much a part of your being as the "you" that you think you are? After all, their opinion couldn't have come out of nowhere, and it was still based on an interaction with yourself...
Blah, I'm going to stop now. We needn't act too much like M.Stoehr, or he'd have no job left. toodles.
