What I'm watching: Game of Thrones, The Borgias, Camelot, Treme and Doctor Who. I'm back to watching SPN with excitement because they picked up the pace big time, finally. Truth be told I disliked almost all of season six, up until now, anyway. Loving Blue Bloods and still hanging on to Bones, too. The Middle IS my life, practically, and I love ( Read more... )

Someone else who didn't like The Hangover! Lord, I hated that film. Not one character who learns, or grows, or has any redeemable quality.

And, frankly, any film that treats Mike Tyson like a super special guest star automatically gets a thumbs down from me.

It sucked, so bad. I can't STAND Bradley Cooper most of all.

Yay for us? LOL

Never saw The Hangover. Never wanted to. I guess that puts me in a minority, too.

I've been working, mostly. Making plans on when and where I'm going to go back to school, whenever it happens. And I got an offer earlier this week to move to New York and I'm not sure I can pass it up without kicking myself in the ass for it forever.

And I'm packing everything I own into a bunch of boxes I jacked from work because we were going to toss them out. I'm winning at room tetris.

It's just not my type of movie at all.

So, NY? Wow! That's huge. You going? I know what you mean, it's SUCH an offer, it's like, how can you not do it. But it's so big. Good luck with it!

LOL, room tetris could be the new thing ;)

You're actually the second person I know who doesn't like The Hangover. I watched it with my roommate at the beginning of the semester and she really didn't like it.

I want to see Fright Night too! (I might have dangle Colin Ferrell in front of someone to go, though...)

I'm actually middling on Doctor Who so far. I mean, I love how continuity is now an issue and not something that can be thrown in every once in a while once we remember that, oh yeah, there has to be something that RESEMBLES plot, and I LOVE Eleven and am starting to love River, but some parts (*cough*Amy*cough*) I'm still not getting hooked on to. Also, I would like just a tad more info on WTF is going on. (Why eyepatch lady? WHY?!)

I should start a 'Hangover Haters Anon' or something, LOL.

See, I love Amy! I think she's adorable. And I adore River, too, since Ten. I think we'll get more info, soon. I would love to know what's up with eyepatch lady, for sure.

Oh, and you okay? I just saw your post from the other day. Hugs? HUGS!

I feel like, in theory, I should like Amy, but she still hasn't grown on me yet.

HUGS! :D Yeah, I'm doing a bit better. I've mostly been holed up in my dorm room studying and distracting myself with things on the Internet and making plans for the summer. (Hopefully I will be seeing "Hobo With a Shotgun" with my best friend when I get back home.)

Aww, you get to see/read/listen to so much more stuff than I do! I think you're clearly doing the don't-have-a-job thing better than I am. *g*

I've been listening to Mumford and Sons like a fiend too, ever since last... November? December? I dunno, a certain redhaired boy got me going on them and been hooked ever since.

It's embarrassing, but I've never read Good Omens - thankfully, friend I just met for sushi earlier tonight handed over her copy to me along with a couple books she was returning so I'll be reading it shortly... hopefully. Vanity Fair is a VERY long book, lol.

I never get to see very many movies but OMG PRIEST. I promise I won't berate you about Priest not being on your list of movies to see because hey, maybe you forgot or maybe you're not interested but OMG PAUL BETTANY KARL URBAN VAMPIRE WESTERN YUM OMG. Um, yeah, that's one movie I'll be seeing. *g*

It's easy when school is in, but in a few weeks when it's out...Yeah. Much less fun reading/watching. But OMG I can't wait to hear what you think of Good Omens! I loved it, though like I said, I ended up liking American Gods even more. And you know, I've had Vanity Fair sitting on top of my bookshelf, ready to crack open, for like a year. Whoops.

I freaking love Mumford and Sons. Your boy, he has good taste. (Did you see RocknRolla yet, btw?) At first listen I thought, ugh, cheap DMB knock off, but no, I was wrong.

LOL, I did forget Priest! I wanna see it, though this is where I should admit that I'm not a huge Paul Bettany fan (my favorite role of his is that of Tony Stark's computer, LOL)

Damn it, I miss musing with you.

I may just have gotten my hands on that copy of Good Omens, but I've also had American Gods sitting in a pile of loaned books from the SIL for... blimey, three years? *facepalm* Damn, I suck at reading lately.

YAY PRIEST!! I'll admit it, not a huge Bettany fan either but most of my flist seems to think otherwise so I figured I'd dangle all the carrots I had to hand ;) You know me, I'm all about the Karl... and well, yeah, the potential slash but let's at least see the thing first, yes? Maybe. *g*

Aw, been missing you too, babe. *squishes*

I'm tired just from reading your list... I'm more in one of those "ooooh shiny tinfoil balls" stages myself. Less Vixen, more house cat perhaps. *g*

I end up seeing a lot of the same films as you and I don't even have a kid as an excuse.

Sometimes the house cat is stronger than the Vixen. It's all good :)

I saw most of those types of films before I had Peter, too :)
