The Personalitron had done more than change his personality. It had created a whole other person, one Pinky had watched use his body to make the humans swoon. It had been fun to go to parties and such as part of a plan for once…
…then Suavo crossed the line.
It seemed that his other self liked his cagemate as much as he did. And Brain wasn’t immune to the charming mouse’s hypnotic powers.
At first, Pinky didn’t know what was happening. Suavo was talking in his usual, airy, sophisticated way while Brain was working on his latest doohickey. Then the less intelligent mouse watched as his tail wrapped around the megalomaniacal mouse, using the rose to caress beneath Brain’s chin.
His friend had shuddered, hand forming a fist as he turned towards the taller mouse. Then the fingers relaxed as he gazed at Suavo.
While he couldn’t read the other one’s mind, Pinky had a feeling this wasn’t going to end well. His tail continued to slide over the other’s form as Suavo brought his hands up to stroke Brain’s skull. His genius friend only added a token resistance as the other mouse’s magnetism immediately drew him in. And the shorter mouse allowed Suavo to run his paws down his back while leaning towards Pinky’s best friend.
Immune to Suavo’s effect-they, after all, shared the same body-Pinky mentally rammed the other, knocking them off-balance. It was worth it to see Brain backpedal, blinking and eyes clearing as he regained control over himself.
But now…
The lanky mouse felt lonely despite the fact that they shared a bed made out of an old sponge. Brain had cringed in his sleep when he tried to hug the chubbier mouse close to him. The shorter mouse slept on the edge of their bed, putting as much space between them as possible.
Pinky was going to have to start all over again.
