I need some goat's tears!

I had the surgery on my wrist about a week and a half ago. The surgery itself went smoothly. But getting there, the muffler fell off Jared's car, which was a bit of a hassle. The doctor gave me percocets for the pain. I was really excited about it because I wouldn't be required to make decisions while taking them. However, they made me violently ( Read more... )

Hmm, I'll go out to the farm stand today and chase some goats around! *wanders off to find book 6 of harry poter*

Seriously, I don't mind driving you and other than Tuesday night it's no big deal. Any time I spend driving you is more than made up for having you at work. Trust me, I'll spend whatever time is needed to not have to be alone at work. It's way more fun when you're there.

So you get better and don't worry none about me. We'll make it through this! Better! Stronger! With 3 working wrists between the two of us!

I wonder if the old lady had read that instead of Dickens if she would have had the tears faster!

I'm glad you don't mind driving me, but I will probably still feel bad! :)

Jared's bringing me to work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. He's also picking me up Tuesday and Wednesday because we have errands to run. So that leaves you with Monday after work and Thursday/Friday to and from. It's like visitation rights haha. Thanks again!

It's better than it was, but I have no strength. I can barely pick up a gallon of milk with my right hand. The doctor said it sill take another 6 months to get my strength back.

I hope so! It has its good days and bad days. Overall, the pain is way less. But that could also be because I'm not doing all the things I used to be doing with it. For instance, I switched mouse hands, so I'm using my left instead of my right, when my arm was still casted.

I think my left wrist might have the same issue, but I'm trying to be more cautious with it. Before, I would still do things even if it hurt my wrist. Now, I don't. So, who knows.
