Racism, however, requires the backing of social privilege to back it up and enforce it. A discriminatory comment by a white person has much more social weight to it than that of something spoken by a black person.

Though, the effects when directed from one person to another can be just as mentally stressful and condemning. What's unfortunate is that given the audience that he could potentially have, that could become a scary scary rally.

I don't agree, because again, it requires the full reinforcement of social privilege to be effective. Whites simply don't experience racial prejudice on a daily basis. But I'm in something of a fragile state of mind tonight and don't feel like getting into it.

Well, if there's anyone to get into a non-arguement with, it's me LMAO. I totally respect others opinions. I do see where you're going there, I guess I'm just jaded by the "ghetto" culture...which includes whites, blacks, hispanics, etc...that I get overloaded when I see crazy people talking about exterminating anyone of another race. Genocide is never the answer LMAO

Racism doesn't have to be effective to be racism. This is yet another way that blacks have continued to marginalize themselves.

Suck it up, educate yourself, and foster a culture of achievement instead of a culture of martyrdom. This is the key to success. Just ask Asians, including those from the subcontinent; they seem to be doing damn well.
