Disclaimer: If you recognize it, regrettably - it's not mine.

In less than twenty minutes, SWAT and FBI worked together to take the warehouse with surprisingly little resistance. The toxin was contained and Warren with her goons were being transported away… except one.

“I’m only going to ask you once,” Colby growled, his grip tightening on the oversized smirking criminal. “Where is she?”

The son of a bitch laughed.

Colby tossed him against the wall as anger filled his features. David and Don took a step closer ready to intervene if things got worse but wanting to give Colby the chance to get the information he needed. “Where… is…. she?” he hissed.

“Let’s just say,” the perp snarled, “she wouldn’t play nice. We had to teach her a lesson.”

With force, Colby tossed the scumbag to the side letting him fall to the ground with disregard. Colby turned then, looking around as his stomach churned and a feeling he’d felt many times before crept into his heart.

He looked to David and his partner understood. David gave a signal for the team to spread out while two agents rounded up the body on the floor to lead him away.

“Breathe,” Colby told himself. If he didn’t breathe, he would throw up and now, there were more important things to do.

This is where the toxin was being made. This had to be where she was… somewhere inside. But where?

“He’s put her in something…” Colby sighed aloud and again his stomach churned knowing the abandoned warehouse was full of crates and numerous other storage spaces.

It worried him more that Callie wasn’t making any noise to help them find her. Surely if she had heard the commotion of the FBI/SWAT onslaught, she would have tried to signal somehow so they could find her… she would if she was still alive. [ original post]
