Notes/Warnings: Since I've been posting different Colby/Callie universes, I'd like to specify that this drabble takes place in The Sparkling Series universe sometime after Only for You and before Perfection. I had fun with this. I hope you enjoy. :)
He’d come from five generations of solider, but Colby honestly never understood the “man in uniform” fantasy... not until he saw her wearing his.
A role playing adventure the night before had left his battle dress uniform scattered about his apartment. Now, his overcoat draped her feminine frame. She’d left it unbuttoned and open down her middle - revealing his dog tags dangling between perfect breasts... GRANGER across her left, US ARMY across her right.
She wore nothing more than this and a smile as she stepped closer to him.
“Are you sure you can’t call in sick?” she rasped taking his camouflaged hat from the back of the couch, moving closer still.
He watched her add the hat to her attire, the shades of green accenting her long red curls - and he felt his mouth go dry even as another step from her opened the overcoat to reveal more of her smooth, delicious skin.
“I really need to go, Cal.”
There was a fire in her eyes as her smile turned wicked. “Then maybe I need to find another soldier for the mission.”
Colby opened his cell phone and dialed. Don would have to understand... war had just been declared.
