Notes/Warnings: According to my "Unfinished Fic" folder, this drabble has been in there since February of 2009. Unfinished. Unpublished. I decided to fix that today. Hope you enjoy. The storm raged outside as another raged between the sheets. One encouraged the other, competing to see who would last the night.
Waves crashed against the shore as his body crashed to hers.
Harder the rain fell and harder they held to each other. Lightning flashed, illuminating entangled bodies and adding eroticism to intimacy.
Her hips rolled in time with his as thunder shook the room.
Cries in the night were drowned by the storm as bodies collapsed, breathless with wind against the windows. The storm outside won this round, but the lovers knew… the storm inside was just beginning.
