Hooray! Fresh Nikki fic from you is def FTW!

And yes, she's very much a no BS girl who lucked out when she found her team. She may have had a few bumps when she first joined, but once she found her place on Don's team it was a great fit. This was such a nice way of expressing that.

Thanks for reading and for liking my Nikki, and for encouraging Nikki fic anyway. I know she was never a fan favorite, but I loved her from the first "who the hell are you?" from Ian. LOL. I think her no bullshit made me instantly love her.

Never mind the fact she's my lady crush and freaking gorgeous! UGH.

Ooh I like this! Nikki is endlessly interesting to me; straight talker though she definitely is, she comes across one way, but then you find all these other layers. You make me want to write her myself. :)

YOU SHOULD WRITE HER YOURSELF! I WOULD LOVE THAT! I've been so bad about reading fic lately. I'm not sure why. But I would so read your Nikki! You're right... she has many layers. The character had so much potential. My favorite head canon is that she ends up as a Senator and presidential candidate, with Ian hoping to become "The First Gentleman" (or whatever we'd call it if we had a female president.) Ah, dreams and the joy of fiction.

I was having a bad day at work, dealing with ass-kissers, and it came to me "What would Nikki do?" LOL. So I wrote this drabble. I'm glad you liked it! I miss writing her. I know she wasn't a fan favorite, but I saw endless potential with her character... if the show had been given the chance.
