I had to go watch the video of this online - the look on his face was heartbreaking, he looked like he could barely breath from the pain. I don't know how you managed to see this happen in person, sweetie - your heart must have been in your throat. My heart for you and your Giants, babe.

it was a violent wrench, guts ripped out and such, but i've noticed that none of the bad news/bad performances this year hurt quite as bad as they usually do. when things are going poorly, i just think about the million people who showed up for the parade, and the rings on their fingers.

Poor Madison. Poor Buster. I can't look at the photos or the videos again. I just hope it's a wakeup call for everyone else on the team.
