You are spoiling us, it's true. I had just listened to everything two or three times, regretting that there was no more, and now there is! (But =Land of the Blind= will get more listens pretty soon. So much still to unpack. And the Sherlock... hmm. And the others.) It's so good, and I don't even give you comments on it like I sometimes do on written work.

And you read wonderfully. I don't say that lightly; I've heard Neil Gaiman and Ellen Kushner read their own work. I think you're in the same league. But you always sound embarrassed when you say, "The End," as if you have to laugh at yourself for assuming that anyone's still listening. It's like I can see you look up, expecting the room to be empty. It would make me want to give you a hug, but you don't seem to be the virtual-hug type.

it is always so encouraging to hear feedback on the podfic, extra thanks. i am ever-worried about a) going too fast, and b) mumbling/slurring words together, but if you are liking it i must be doing something right.

Also, it's entirely possible it's just me, but I am experiencing a few minutes of total silence starting at 12:53 on Manhattan for Beads, both when I play it online and download. It cuts back in at 16:20, post-sex, like some kind of enormous tease.
