Thanks for the support. I think we share more or less a similar position about feminism. I wouldn't call myself exactly a feminist, but I strongly support equality of rights and can't stand all the sexist discourses that deny to women as a whole intelligence, rationnality, capacity of analysis and so on. I just can't.

I guess you may well be right! :D

It's not the first time I've seen such offensive assertions, and I've always refrained from reacting, but this one was the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm just furious.

"It is such a double standard. " Oh yes. I was so cross that I almost wanted to suscribe to this board to give them a piece of the mind of one of these unknown female Spike's fans they like to speak about. But then, I went all why bother... (I haven't totally let down the thought though.) What's sad is that they don't even realise that many posts squeeing about Spike's abs are in fact mocking these sexist beliefs.

"Yet, they don't see it? (shrugs)." Well, yes, you weak blind woman, can't you see Angel is the serious one that every self respectable woman wants to marry!
