Artistic Rave
I had an idea for those revamped characters. Since they were supposed to be in an EVA fancomic of sorts, I decided to go ahead and rip off the concept a bit of giant robots that are military weapons. Except there won't be Angels or anything like that.
The robots designs are really similar to EVAs because they're like, the only mechas I like because of their human-like, unbulky anatomy. Only it's going to be different because they don't have those dinky hairpins or whatever the pilots wore, and instead they're going to have a wire-needle thing shoved in their spine/neck that connects them to the robots so they can pilot it by thought and shit, thus why all of them will have a little hole on the back of the neck due to constant insertion. The eye thing is the comm device.
Brian gets a special one because he needs glasses. The center of the armour is very important, because it's how the tech team controls heart beating and synch of the pilots
I need to think about names and think a bit more about the plot, but I'm kind of satisfied so far, I love brainstorming, it makes me unbored and shit. But I really need to think about some things, 'cause this entertains me and all.
