when you have a bad day as a teacher you don't just question your ability to teach you start to question yourself as a person.

i mean you've got the education and the future of the little demons in your hands.

and i have had one such day.

and i'd be lying if i said walking into traffic right now didn't hold some appeal.

*hug* It's not solely up to you. They have other teachers. And parents. And one bad day is not going to screw them all up. It's fine.

Yeah, they need help from *professionals*...and you're not trained to give it to them! The most you can do is try to be kind, which I can well recall is a major effort sometimes.

Hey, if this doesn't cheer you up nothing will:

But the bad news is I don't know if I can get the brand of henna you described to me :( Haven't seen it. Care to try a different one? What sort of colour are you looking for? Purple-y red?

more of an auburn. that's the only brand that has actually turned my hair auburn. the others don't show up. don't fret too much if you can't find it. is the fresh and wild in london?

many times, i have to think back to when i was a middle schooler. half the kids are giving you a hard time because they don't know how to do the stuff and driving you crazy keeps them from admitting that (sounds cheesy, but it's the case many times!).

it takes a while, but you have to realize that those under 21 don't really matter. they're freaking idiots.
